Jellyfish

This jellyfish simulation is based on my best known piece so far.

Back in 2010 I was commissioned by Savannah College of Art and Design to create a video installation for their Hong Kong gallery. Instead of creating a video, I created a real-time simulation using WebGL.

At the time, this was one of the very first WebGL demos and it helped my career gain some momentum. Later that later I presented the jellyfish demo at Siggraph conference Real-time Live! Session.

Today, I adapted this basic demo into a generative NFT piece. Every token minted will be a unique simulation varying in jellyfish count, size, position and about 10% of tokens will be presented in bioluminescent night mode.
