chaikin triangilism

Gorik14/14

This work is the result of composition and division of triangles.

The background layer consists of a grid of 4 or 6 point polygons that are composed of triangles.
On top, there are an outer, middle and inner object, each again a composition of triangles with a randomized number of points.

Each triangle on its own is divided into pieces using a randomized number of iterations,

Chaikin curved lines are used to create the floral effect.

For the background layer, the palette colours are used (see features), the other layers use random colours.

The style of this piece can be considered as generative geometric art. Each mint is the result of math, no design has been done to manipulate the outcome.
