"Shred" is an adaptation of a previous work, called "Cliques." Expanding on the figure's articulation, "Shred" poses the form in an action scene with a skateboard. Each figured is backed by a "shredded" rectangle that represents a departure from the mainstream environment. Ten percent of the figures (on average) have a diverse color palette, signifying the diversity and marginalization that can occur within cliques.
