Doors of Perception

The title of this work is inspired by Aldous Huxley's book of the same name, exploring ideas of conciousness.

Inspiration is found in the places we choose to look. I have been personally motivated to learn p5js from scratch, to be able to mint this, my very first generative artwork. This motivation came from seeing the work of others right here on fxhash.

Aldous Huxley himself took the title for his book from the William Blake poem 'The Marriage of Heaven and Hell';

“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is: Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern”

I hope my work inspires you in some small way.

Whilst each mint will be infinitely unique, there are no intentional rarity traits. Variations are made in door count, frame split, colours, and speed.
