Continuing from my previous work, this one is a more literal interpretation of our efforts to become possibly(?) the first space-faring species.
“It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.”
Third rock from the sun is always a blue planet.
Lines coming off the blue planet denote the ability to communicate with other planets. When planets are obstructed from one another communication is impossible.
One can only wonder what may happen during those dark hours/days/months/years…
The piece is interactive: Mouse scroll zooms, click’n’drag rotates.
> Getting a rainbow-colored solar system is rare, as is getting a system-wide communication pattern between each planet.
> A mint with a larger number of planets is considered to be a rare one too.
