"Au pied de la lettre" is a generative kufi-inspired roman typography.
In its artistic approach, this piece does not use any text based function and generates letters dynamically, as shapes.

Each mint is generated with its own typographic variations of ascender, descender and crossbar, then takes an input message and creates a unique tile from it in the shape of a square, a star or a cross.

"Au pied de la lettre" means "literally" as this piece uses literally the hash as the message to be displayed, giving the mint its uniqueness. Whatever the hash is, readableness is futile, style is the message here.
