Basic is a shape, color, composition and feature structure study. The pieces are rectangular bit matrices hidden in squared arrangements of blps that take one of the following styles: Analog, RGB, Life and Game in a Light or a Dark mode.

The collection is an abstract representation of the meaning programming code has for me and the relationship I’ve had with it throughout my life.

Basic also is the name of the very first programming language I learned as a kid.
