[ranges] is a generative series of digital mountains connected by programatic features with similarity in form, structure, and alignment that have arisen from the same cause. [ranges] are usually segmented by [uplifted_blocks] or [thrust_sheets]. Individual mountains within the same mountain range do not necessarily have the same [plate_tectonics]. They may be a mix of different [orogeny] expressions and [climate].
