As sea levels rise due to global warming, coastal cities are increasingly in danger of inundation.

This work depicts a shining futuristic city on the shore of a deceptively placid sea.

While drawing, the image is periodically bumped in contrast, resulting in a photographic effect of overexposure and blown-out details.
