For this project, I was inspired by Japanese culture and incorporated colors traditionally associated with Japan into the palette.

The traditional Japanese colors, regularly tiled, resemble the scales of Nishikigoi or the patterns of a kimono (furisode)patterns.

The shearing deformation of the tile shapes; shear() makes the colors appear abstract.

The palette is selected from one of the following variations.
