Tempus Fugit

r1b2121/222

This collection combines several classical techniques (Isometric 3D, voxels, noise fields, and unusual Truchet tilings) into something new.

In some pieces, the base 3d structure dissolves, creating an abstract, twisted painting
with only an elusive sense of the underlying construction logic.

Others are more architectural. Are they decaying cities from another age ? Deteriorating landscapes for the Minecraft generation ? Strange artifacts from a long gone alien civilization ? The viewer will decide.

All iterations, though, are designed to express this common feeling that time erodes everything. Tempus Fugit.
