In 2057 an error occurred in the particle accelerator machine causing a diversion in space-time that leads to duplication of our world. Scientists discovered that they can travel to these "CrossWorlds" with wormholes plagued by singularities occurring at weakened points of the fabric between worlds. In time, some worlds became hostile to each other, tried to plunder their natural resources, and take over civilizations but other worlds learned how to co-exist peacefully...
