Amplitude is a study in depth. Waves travel across the frame using Perlin noise to guide its modulation. Allowing slight variations to occur in each layer. Sometimes the waves are added to the frame and sometimes they are subtracted. Resulting in dramatically different visual appearances.

Like most of my work this piece is carefully designed to also exist IRL as a 12 layer laser carved woodcut.
