This work explores the inheritance of design parameters within a single tree lineage. Studied characteristics include length/diameter balance, branching strategy, leaf distribution, orientation, and color details. In addition, the environment provides wind and season information.
Each new tree is created by replicating the attributes of its immediate ancestor, but subject to a controlled mutation rate.
Finally a photograph is taken with a simple snapshot or, with a long exposure setting capturing branch and leaf movements.
