GravityTune

NFT_HEAD3/3

Gravity tune is a collection of 512 randomly generated NFTs on the Tezos blockchain!
Each GT (gravity tune) is a random gravity simulator animation with random background music!

In this collection I designed a series of random gravity spots on the screen and random number of particles, these gravity spots pull each other and finally combine and make a bigger and stronger gravity force. After a few combinations, the gravity spot will collapse and push the particles around the space!
Some of the gravity spots are different and may push the particles from one direction to another!

It's amazing how one can depict the gravity force in the universe with some code lines based on physics.
This depiction, just as in the real world, is shown based on each spot's gravity force, direction & velocity vector, and each particle's unique direction angle. The next frame is created based on the previous one.

This is a model simulator of how gravity works in this universe. Not quite accurate but it gives you an idea! The images looked charming, so I decided to make it perfect by working on the sound and color composition.

I used Tone.js to create the music. This library contains some preset synthesized sounds, and I picked a few which went well together and used them randomly, each part of the music uses PolySynth, FMSynth, AMSynth or Synth.
Each track chooses a random Scale and creates the music based on that.

In general, the music consists of four parts:

- Pad; which plays two octaves lower than the tonic note scale to fill the atmosphere.
- Chords; Created based on the track scale and randomly play between 1-3 measures. (each sentence in music is called a measure)
- Motif sound No.1; Plays in the main octave. Rhythm and notes' delay times are selected randomly.
- Motif No.2; Plays one octave lower than No.1, Rhythm and notes' delay times are selected randomly.

After each gravity orb explodes, the music will pause for a moment and restarts playing. Now chords and motifs move an octave either high or low.
