Hexaëder (cube) is a research into abstraction and a search for a balance between simplification and visual complexity.

No matter how simple and unambiguous things appear to be, in reality they are often more complex. Enjoy the simple, explore the complex.

Hexaeder has a wide variety of possible outcomes. I have put together 10 different color palettes; the number of cubes ranges from 10 to 401 (18 different grids); each cell can have 4 different background patterns; each cube can be filled in 4 distinct ways; there are 5 line colors and 16 different "cube figures"; the vignette can be black or be the color of the palette, and there are several "texture settings". This results in over 1.8 million possibilities.
