this experiment is inspired by Victor Vasarely's Berc, but with a much reduced color range. since the function highlighting one shape at a time only seems to come through occasionally, this reminded me of staticnoise. the number of rectangles and the flashing colour are randomized, I generated version with only two rectanglesshapes when testing.
