Rearranged is an invitation to engage in an exploration of aesthetics within the constraints of the generated token.
Each piece has 4 layers. Each layer can be independently rotated by 90 degrees clockwise by clicking 1,2,3 or 4 on the keyboard. Some changes are subtle. Some are surprising.
's' on the keyboard will scramble all of the rotations.
'r' will reset to the original artwork.
You are invited to:
arrange a more aesthetically pleasing piece than the original;
scramble the artwork and use the number keys to return it to its original state;
work out which shapes have been erased from each layer.
And of course there is also a gorgeous gradient illusion made of solid-colour filled tessellating shapes.
3 tessellations of varying sizes, 12 layouts with random elements, 14 palettes.
