The One Tezo Drawings project is a variation of the “Desenhos de um Real” project (2006- ). In it, the artist sets the price of his work by making a rational calculation, equating his artistic production with a consumer good detached from the art world .
In this case, the calculation is based on the amount charged per hour of work from the minimum wage in the United States. Thus, a drawing that took X hours to produce (Wt) will have its price fixed at USD 15.00 * Wt divided by the value in Dollars of one Tezo (Dt) at the time of publication. But for the final price to be 1.00 Tez, the total production time value (Wt) will be divided by the number of editions (Ed). Therefore, the number of editions is defined by the following formula: 1.00 Tez = (Wt*15/Dt)/Ed ==>
Ed=Wt*15/Dt
For example, if a drawing took 10 hours to produce, the number of editions (worth 1.00 Tez each) will be: 10*15/2.01 = 75
For this particular project:
Permutation of 10 to 16 mirrored layers.
Wt= 8
Dt= 1.83
Ed= 8*15/1.83 = 65
