Сhemical realities

Julia^128/128

As the analog image ages, it decays, gradually turning into noise. It is interesting that this noise and aesthetics of decay are readily reproduced by neural networks, which creates symptoms of destruction and chemical realities that never physically existed.

These idyllic landscapes never existed either.

But a very similar image hung on the wall in my parents' country house.

We've added Perlin noise to the work, making fun of these synthetic digital illusions that are so easy to believe.

Artwork is based on PNG layers (with masks), Disco Diffusion, python and p5.js code.
