Tribute to the Swiss artist Emma Kunz (1892-1963). She rejected the idea of art versus non-art, and instead expanded her definition to include research, medicine, and nature, as well as the supernatural, magical, and visionary. Don't stop discovering her art!

This piece is inspired by her uncompromising handling of geometry and the colorful, freehand pictorial finish of her work, a sensibility with which I connect very deeply.
