Expressive portraits inspired by @michelepetrelli

The used techniques search in the unexplored field of mixing pfp layer based work and real-time generative algorithms changing and adding to the premade assets.

The pre-generated assets include original artworks by Petrelli, Imitations of Petrelli's work by @brutalisti, GAN generated artworks inspired by Petrelli using several different AI technologies.

Every generatively chosen layer combination is live-processed and generatively altered in aspects of color and shape. Then the generative algorithm proceed with captured color palettes and generate background and additional drawing over and under the initial layers. The final result as acquired by visualizing everything with live generative algorithm that give additional layer of uniqueness.
