floating

Chris Randall64/64

I spent last week at a rental bungalow in Ocean Beach (San Diego), California, for a much needed battery recharge. Most of the time, I just sat on the beach and watched the waves, and admired the different sets of circumstances that could lead to different results. I am continually bemused by how generative art is just creating algorithms to do what nature does fine on its own.

Waves going out, waves coming in. High tide, low tide. Onshore wind, offshore wind. Strong breeze, gentle breeze. Sun is up, sun is down. Apply fxrand() to all these factors, and here we are.
