Terrans who are not as advanced as the other races in the galaxy, didn't even dream of getting into contact with alien races, let alone going out to the space. They weren't as advanced in technology as Vendians, so when the war broke, they got defeated by Vendians, who didn't even break a sweat. That was alone a reason for humans to feel angry against the aliens. But in addition to that, their nobles and high society made a deal with Vendians, which included a massive portion of the population becoming slaves in exchange of the nobles going out to colonies in the space. They became slaves to Vendians with people from other planets that Vendians have conquered. Because of that, all the people on earth had a common goal. To create a rebellion so big, that even their "mighty masters" will tremble before.
